These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of avitsena.com, including our online courses, microlearning content, certificates and related services (together, the “Platform”). By creating an account, enrolling in a course or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
01About AVITSENA
The Platform is operated by AVITSENA, a pharmaceutical training and quality consultation practice based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (“AVITSENA”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at any time through our contact page.
02Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Platform under the authority of your employer or training organisation.
- You agree to give accurate registration details, including your full name as it should appear on certificates.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and must not be shared.
- We may pause new registrations, or refuse or close an account, where reasonably necessary to operate or protect the Platform.
03Courses and access
When you enrol, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the course content for your own learning, for the access period shown for that course. We may update, reorder or improve course content to keep it accurate and current.
Corporate or group enrolments may be subject to a separate written agreement, which will take precedence over these Terms where they differ.
04Certificates
- A certificate of completion confirms that you completed the AVITSENA course shown on it, including any required lessons and assessments.
- Certificates carry a unique ID so they can be verified on avitsena.com.
- A certificate is not a licence, regulatory approval or authorisation to perform GMP-regulated activities. Qualification for a role remains the responsibility of your employer under its own training and quality system.
- We may revoke a certificate obtained through misuse of the Platform, including sharing accounts or assessment answers.
05Fees and payments
Where a course or service is paid, the price and any applicable taxes will be shown before you confirm your purchase. Payment terms, cancellation and refund conditions for a specific offer will be stated at the point of purchase or in your agreement with us. Please contact us with any billing question.
06Intellectual property
All content on the Platform, including videos, text, graphics, assessments, the AVITSENA name and logo, is owned by AVITSENA or used under licence from its content partners, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, download, record, screen-capture, redistribute, sell, publish or create derivative works from the content, or remove any copyright or confidentiality notices, without our prior written permission.
07Acceptable use
When using the Platform you agree not to:
- share your login or let others complete courses or assessments for you;
- attempt to access accounts, data or areas of the Platform you are not authorised to use;
- interfere with the Platform’s security or operation, or use automated tools to scrape or copy content;
- upload or send unlawful, misleading, offensive or harmful material through our forms or messages.
08Educational content disclaimer
Our courses and microlearning content provide general education on GMP, quality, validation and related topics. They are not a substitute for your organisation’s approved procedures, applicable regulations or professional advice for a specific situation. Responsibility for regulatory compliance remains with the regulated organisation. Consultation services are provided under their own written scope and terms.
09Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Platform available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform, with reasonable notice where practical.
10Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AVITSENA is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us for the course or service concerned in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11Third-party links and services
The Platform may link to or rely on third-party websites and services (for example, hosting, video delivery or web fonts). We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
12Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.
13Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
